Rice Harvest – the musical is inspired by real life events and tells the story of child refugees fleeing the aftermath of the Vietnam War. Setting off in an unseaworthy boat, they are saved by the diving team on an oil rig but meet further danger before being rescued by a British ship bound for England. It is a story of love, innocence and hope in a world of bitterness, divide and conflict.
